President Barack Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500
We urgently request your immediate assistance to disregard the results of the previous presidential election in Gabon . We urge you also to seek a new election for President, one that will be conducted honestly and fairly with documented monitoring of the results.
You may know that the previous election last month was highly disputed by many world leaders as well as West African and Gabonese officials and socio/economic groups in these societies. As each day passes, without an officially elected President, the nation of Gabon grows more uncertain and unstable in its national political and economic life.
This growing instability is bad for the United States and you must take immediate action to begin reversing the situation. Our organization, the Coalition for African Progress (CAP) is immediately ready to join you and the US Government in assisting in monitoring a new Presidential election, one where one of the four leading, proven candidates for President can be triumphant. These four are:
1. Mr. Andre Mba Obame
2. Mr. Pierre Mamboundou
3. Mr. Mouro Nguema
4. Mr. Zachary Miboto
There is no doubt that the US Government must respect the sovereignty and independence of the individual voter in Gabon . Our organization, CAP, stands ready to implement a voluntary program to assist voters in Gabon in understanding their candidate choices and helping to conduct the election with accuracy, fairness, and total honesty.
Please note we have secured the support of several US Congressmen and US Senators who will disclose later. Many officials as well as CAP are strong advocates for a new and fair recount vote in Gabon . We have also received personal guarantees of support from former President Jimmy Carter and the Carter Foundation, among several others. These Congressmen, Senators and public officials stand ready to help our efforts in monitoring these elections to assure accuracy and fairness. Many millions of citizens and organizations want the next Gabonese Presidential election to be conducted properly and with honest results.
Mr. President, our request becomes even more urgent when we analyze and project the impact on jobs, trade, and industrial production in the US economy, as well as our expected tax revenue and needs. Helping Gabon helps the United States !
By supporting our efforts, described above, and by adhering to the accurate, detailed research documentation attached to this letter, we of CAP know that you, our US government officials, the reporting media and interested public groups, will benefit instantly, as will business interests in both Gabon and the US.
I will be following up in the next five days to assure your reception of this correspondence and research material. You may of course contact me at anytime at 919-552-1994, or that of our government relations consultant, Bill Robinson at his home office number at 919-326-2455.
